I would agree with the previous comments that this subject is pretty useless unless your passion is in research. The lecture content was somewhat interesting and I did learn some new concepts however the lectures themselves were beyond boring. The tutorials were pointless as well - the tutor was unprepared and I didn't learn much. I have never encountered a subject in which the assessments have been marked so harshly with little opportunity for reconsideration.

The lectures for this subject are pointless. They don't record the lectures however this doesn't matter, you don't learn anything in them. The lecture notes are also pointless, they have nothing on them. The tutorials are alright, my tutor was pretty good however again, I didn't really learn that much in these anyways. The assignments are really easy, so you shouldn't have any problem doing well. I reckon about 80% of my tute group got distinctions or above. The exam however is pretty difficult, the multiple choice part of it was basically "choose the most correct answer" which is always annoying. Yeah, going to class for this subject is pretty pointless. I learn a whole lot more from youtube than I ever did in tutes/lectures.

This is a very frustrating and pointless subject, I learnt nothing new. The tutors for this subject didnt know what was going on, assignments were unclear and final exam was very confusing. Avoid this subject if you can.
