Reviews

Interesting, but as its one of the introductory law subjects it would have been good to have a little more guidance on the basic skills such as answering problem questions etc.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2017

I have taught so many students in this subject and I think that is why it seems pretty simple to me

Anonymous, Semester 2, 2016

Interesting subject, logical and exciting. Some parts were drier than others.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2018

A demanding subject, but good in building skills and capabilities to answer problem questions. Be prepared to not receive as much guidance, to have to navigate ambiguous concepts, and to sift through lots of cases

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2017

Hard, but interesting. Have fun with Professor Nottage's 'comparative asides'.

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2017

Straightforward well taught class but introduces the foundational concepts of law so it can be intimidating and intense for beginners

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2010

The best unit so far. The way Wayne Courtney presented his lectures was the most helpful thing in solving problem questions and understanding of content generally. If you do all the problem questions, you will be on top of it!

Anonymous, Semester 1, 2014

Pretty intense but the lecturers are impressive
