It feels like a lot of the content presented in the lectures is from the lecturers previous notes. Feel like the tutorials were not as good as 1st years , as you had to go through it on your own in class. A 70% weight for the final exam means , the exam is the 'ice breaker'. Could be a much better unit, if the exam was worth a tad less and more in class assessments during the semester.

The in-semester assessments test things before you are taught them, especially true in the first half of the course. The lecturer removes all crucial online notes/recordings in the first half of the course, do not skip any lectures in the first half. This course is passable if you are either repeating it or are at least a distinction student in maths, the biggest loss of crucial marks is in the first four weeks - don't think you can make up for them later in the semester. The final exam questions are deceptively simple and/or computationally messy. The material is ok in retrospect, not as madly fun/useful/interesting as the lecturer advertises.

This was quite a challenging maths unit however the lecturer explained things well. If this unit becomes too challenging, a lot of the content have been made available through the internet.
