I don't think it is a wam booster; be careful for the final exam if you really would like to choose this unit, and actually, it's very boring and almost no support from the unit teaching staff. Some tutors don't have the same criteria for marking your problem sets; some are less serious, but others are not.

It was quite easy but Nate or Nat the tutor spoke way too fast and he was like talking to himself, it was hard to keep up with him. I did quite a lot self learning off campus.

Very interesting unit. Math based but also requires translation of English sentences into logical structures which was hard for ESL students. I liked doing the logic trees! Seb is great too.

Probably very different from the mainstream view of a philosophy class – this unit was similar to maths in that it was heavily formula-based. Seb is a brilliant lecturer, and as long as you get a copy of the textbook and go to classes, it's not too difficult a subject.

Sebastian is an amazing lecturer! 100% recommend :)

Did this subject in winter school and accidentally fell helplessly inlove with the lecturer. Do not recommend to those with a tender heart.

More like a maths subject, but very useful in later philosophy.

If you choose to do this unit, make sure you actually study for it! The final exam can screw you up if you don't
