PSYC2015 was one of the best subjects I taught at USYD! The combination of learning and neuropsychology has more often than not sparked interest in majoring in neuroscience! The assessments are also very straight forward - a tutorial quiz, debate and research report.

This unit of study is best suited for students who have a solid understanding and interest in basic neuroscience, as the content can be quite technical and more 'science-y' than other psych units. It is a well coordinated unit and has a standard MCQ/SAQ based exam, with no major surprises.

This subject replaces PSYC2010. I found content to be interesting for some modules (development and neuro). The modification plan and report were of medium difficulty It's good to start early so you have more time to read and gain a good understanding of the topic. The debate was easy marks- all we needed to do was bring in a sheet of notes to get the 5 marks, there was no requirement in being a speaker. The final exam had multiple choice and 2 SAQs, nothing too difficult. Overall, an enjoyable course. Ian is a great unit coordinator. Keep it up!
