Reviews

Challenging but fun and interesting. Attend lectures and tutorials religiously and study for recall as there is a lot of content which must be memorised. The lab is not actually that difficult to understand and write a report on, make use of the tutor's consultation hour to plan your report well in advance of due date

The subject is really fascinating from a Neuroscience perspective. Most of the lecturers are great, like Ian Johnston and Bart Anderson (Vision). The advanced tutorials with the lab rats are fun and easy with a report that is applicable to real life scenarios

Ian is awesome, let's be honest. There is an insane amount of content to be memorised, but if you apply yourself consistently, high marks are achievable. A good second year psychology unit for those who are more science-minded.

A really interesting class. Very information dense. I recommend reviewing your notes at the end of each week and writing a summary, because stuvac isn't long enough to get through it all with enough detail!

Ian Johnston is a legend! Definitely do advanced if you can, same lecture content but the prac part is done on rats which is super awesome.
