Reviews
Very challenging subject, the content was very related to contemporary society so it was quite interesting and engaging. Otherwise, it is more like a law unit, you have to make sure if you really could maximum yourself before choosing it. Dr Allen is one of my favourite coordinators, charming, brilliant and marked very fairly. It was easy to pass, but also tough to get a high mark, you really need to put heaps of effort into it and like it

Interesting content and lectures. Enjoyed this subject!

Difficult to get above a credit even though the content is quite simple. People that did legal studies in high school could find greater interest and engage much more easily than those who didn't. Before choosing this subject, consider whether or not you like learning about Australian Indigenous backgrounds and history, because it's based more on this than crimes.

Dr George is pretty awesome, and he marks very fairly. You need to work hard in this unit to achieve great marks, but the content is fascinating.

You definitely need to have a large interest in this area in order to enjoy it! Doing legal studies in HS sparked a big difference between students' liking of the subject.
