if you have even just a vague interest in politics and international relations - TAKE THIS SUBJECT!! I took it as an elective alongside my Health Science degree, and it seriously made me reconsider my life choices and think if I wanted to go into humanities instead. It was such an incredible unit, the lecturers seriously were world class and had incredible knowledge in their area (3 different lecturers for 3 different regions - they lectured on their specialties). I loved attending the lectures, they were so interesting and interactive, it just felt like a huge class discussion. I highly highly highly recommend and it is literally my favourite subject I ever studied at UTAS
