Reviews
The subject is very easy and understandable. I have Peter Wang as my tutor and he is amazing. He will give you a quick review of the lecture and explain each tutorial questions carefully to ensure you are fully prepared. The final exam is very similar to the practice exam in which I highly recommend to do the practice exam, tutorial questions and don't need to do the questions in the textbook (not relevant). For contents, everything is on the lecture slide so you don't need to purchase a textbook.

Interesting subject to engage in for both those considering economics major, those who want to refresh their economics knowledge from high school, or those who wants to learn it from scratch.

Easy and quite superficial level of economics tested.

I thoroughly enjoyed this subject, and I was fortunate enough to have an excellent lecturer and tutor. I would highly recommend my tutor Alex Calvo, if you are able to choose his tutorial classes then definitely go for it! He breaks everything down and explains really well. Micro is definitely easier to understand (the first half of the subject).

Half Microeconomics, half macroeconomics. The macro part is harder to understand. Exam is ok, not a bad course. Would be easy if you have economics background from high school

Pretty straightforward subject. Concepts are quite diluted in order to give people every chance of passing this subject.

Great subject and interesting to learn. I wish I could have understood the lecturor more often, as he does have a very thick accent... Also would be great to have more applied topics like case studies that are actually interesting (GFC, military economics, etc.) But overall, great job to the teachers.

Great overview of both micro and macro economics concepts! Easy to pass if you keep doing all the quizzes and attempt your tutorials! Great lecturers! Read the textbook, it explains the concepts in more details and there are some examples to help you!

Great intro subject especially for people who do not know much about economics.

This is a great subject. I love it. I learnt a lot about economics from it.
