If its not part of your core subjects don't do it! Its a waste of time and the staff simply don't care/horrible at teaching.

Poorly planned and executed subject. Lectures are vague and not useful in teaching how to design a network. Tutors do not know how to use the Riverbed program for the labs so the tasks for the class are often made up as they go along. Assignments are not clear on requirements. Subject does not teach you how to design an actual network. Useless waste of 3 hours each week. I would not recommend this subject to anyone unless they have to do it as a core.
