This subject implements "flipped learning". What this really means is that the teaching staff do pretty much nothing. You learn a bit of MATLAB using ZyBooks and this makes up most of the assessment (the answers are all on Chegg, so easy marks). The other part of the assessment is a group assignment (recycled from previous semesters). If you don't already get your hands on the solution to the assignment that seems to be mysteriously floating around, the lecturer actually uploads his own (pretty average) code and you can use this and just forfeit about 20% of your mark. You also have to write a report which will still get almost full marks even if it makes absolutely no sense and is filled with mistakes. You have to work with the same group of 3-4 students for the whole semester and the groups are assigned randomly. The ZyBooks thing is done individually though.
