the most boring subject in a first year medical science. I could puke in class every time because of the level of teaching provided. It is poor and well to be fair everything i did was self taught so not a good unit for what you are paying for

Good basic understanding of a lot of concepts vital to later biology studies. Lectures are not the best. I relied on uploaded videos that cover lecture content and then supplimenting this by quickly going of the lecture slides to make sure nothing was missed.

This subject was made for you to fail. The lecturer is shit, and is almost useless, watching paint dry would honestly provide more information. Then what do you do if you can’t rely on the lecturer? You naturally go to the textbook, of which is overly complicated and condensed for a final exam that is literally just multiple choice. The practicals are where most of my learning was done, and is 10x more effective than the shit you get from lectures.

The best way to introduce the amazing world of Biology. Sets you up with a solid foundation for the rest of your degree!

My Favourite subject. Very interesting and the content was given very clear with tutorials.

If you love biology you'll be able to keep up with this subject with a little effort. It seems really intense and there is a lot of material to go over. However, a lot of this extra material isn't required for the final exam. As hard as it was it was an enjoyable subject.

As I really love Biology, I enjoy this subject a lot. It gave me so much opportunity to explore and understand deeply about the smallest unit of body. This subject quite hard for those who have never studied biology before in high school. Overall, I'm very satisfy with the knowledge this subject gave me last semester

Pretty interesting content but the subjects' assessments, practicals and lectures are not very well related

This subject has quite a lot of content to get through in a short time. The labs were always hard to finish, mainly because there was way too many tasks to do within the given lab times, unless you kind of team up with another pair to try and split up the tasks. The demonstrators weren't always helpful, but they did know what has going on (kind of). A little more careful planning to try and work with the new semester system may have made this subject more enjoyable during the shorter time. The poster assignment was okay, as long as you listen to what they like in a poster and the presentation itself, you'll do perfectly fine.
