I am questioning how can the lecturer got his doctor degree. Did he buy it from somewhere? The worst lecturer i have ever met in UWA, so is his tutor, Derek Ding. Their accent is very hard to understand, and he just read out what is on the powerpoint. I finished the unit without watching the lecture video more than 15 minutes. Most importantly, both of them are not friendly at all, especially the tutor, he thinks himself is very sick. Funny combination. Do it in Semester 1!

I ain't waiting till the end of the semester to write this since I already have enough to say how horrible this unit is run. George Shan is the most USELESS lecturer I know in UWA. Just do not take this unit if you actually care about the learning experience. If you want easy HD, do take this unit but maybe take it in semester 1 because the unit coordinator, Thanes, is SO MUCH BETTER.

Such an easy unit. SO little content and half the content was just basic logic. You kinda question why you're even learning it. Taught quite poorly though.

Pretty basic unit, as it builds on concepts you learn in Year 12 Accounting. Midsem was all MC but final exam was much harder (for me imo). I advise that you get involved in the tutorial participation and practice all the self-study questions to do well in this unit.

Learned and understood basic of costing accounting.
