I can tell this was once a really challenging but well-run unit that sets enviro students up for rehabilitation reports, however, the new unit coordinator, though lovely has made this unit too easy. There's only 3 big assignments worth 30,35 and 35%, all on different land rehabilitation types, urban, mine and ag, and you get plenty of resources to do them, but it honestly felt like everything was very optional. There were really great recordings of the tutorials with the past unit coordinator, which seemed like such well-structured classes, but now the unit is just a free for all. The tutorials are a little bit helpful but they are basically a lecture with someone talking at you the entire time. Nanthi is a lovely guy, but he marks way too easy and is way too nice to everyone taking the unit, you get a 50% by just submitting the assignment even if its blank. An easy elective unit if you are interested, and honestly I enjoyed the assignments, but I felt like it would have been so much better with the previous coordinator, and I would've learnt a lot more.
