Super interesting text choices! Very enjoyable unit in general. Doesn't require you to read lengthy novels but the chosen texts include both classics and more niche short stories/novellas that are very thought provoking and allow for meanigful discussions. Loved this unit so much!!!

Amazing unit. You will expand your knowledge about global authors whose work is extremely valuable to discourse around colonialism, classism, etc. I loved every single text we studied. Meghan McLean gave detailed, really helpful feedback on every essay. Ned Curthoys' lectures were great. The discussion in class was really enjoyable and respectful, and gave even more great insight into the topics. You could tell that Ned and Megan cared about our success for a number of reasons - they were constantly checking in and Ned attended the first and the last tute.
