really interesting content and labs were also enjoyable but a lot of waiting around whilst samples incubated. there is a lot of content and you should expect to be examined on specifics so definitely learn it all (unless they say not to, because then they really mean you don't need to!) as mentioned, the exam was a mess but not because of content, but rather because there was a lot of typos and some mis-printing. the unit is a very classical allison style unit in terms of exam content and lecture engagement

Lecture content was interesting but final exam was a mess

the compulsory labs were actually quite cool, and the only assessment for them was in tests/exam. there was a LOT of content to memorise, and if you have had Allison before you may understand how the lectures sounded. The structure of lecture content was a bit weird- in that content may be repeated, sometimes even with the same slides, but if anything that helped because it meant that I actually accidentally revised the content. The tutorials were non compulsory so I didnt attend a single one, and they also were only assessed in the exam/tests but i found that they didnt feature too heavily. The group project is a case of luck, i had a good group so i did well. The content wasnt ocmplex but just a l o t (why its 3 stars instead of 4)
