One of the best year 3 pathology units. The assignment seems very difficult at first but turns out to be surprisingly doable! The final exam was fair, and the lecture content was pretty interesting. Jacob is lovely and the tutorials were very good opportunities to network and discuss the unit with other students. Only wish I had applied myself more, but I do recommend this as one of the better units of third year.

Interesting but difficult. Content heavy, as per usual with pathology, but the lecturers were interesting, each one bringing something different to the table. Lots of specialist talks, which were engaging. It's not helpful memorising everything, rather take key points from each lecturer and use that when studying. This unit really outlined the process of research into clinical practice. The module test provided a good basis for the final exam (for the exam essay - you get the written component question beforehand, but you still need to provide lots of detail and examples from lectures). The research proposal was a really interesting experience despite all the hard work, it almost made me consider doing research.
