A really great psych unit! I was initially worried this area of psych wouldn't be of interest to me but was proven wrong. Also, assessments in this unit are much easier to achieve HDs in than in most of the previous psych units I have done! The lab assessment only involved taking a picture and doing half a page of writing, you get to pick which lab assessment across the semester you want to complete, but you don't get the know the topics of each until the lab before it's due. But that was fine with me, I picked the first one to get it out of the way as my end of the semester is always assessment heavy. I was initially worried about the lab report as it was hard to find research papers during my initial search, and the results seemed a bit confusing, but Guy was very helpful by posting a video dedicated to deconstructing the report on LMS, as well as providing an example of a good report from a previous year. You also had a bit of freedom as to which variables you wanted to focus on for the report which was really helpful. The exam consisted of MCQ based on the textbook and short answer questions from the lectures. Also practice MCQ questions were provided as a test you could take over and over, some of which appeared in the exam! Keep up with the lectures and you should do great in the exam, try to read the textbook chapters if you have time, or at least skim to note down the things not mentioned in the lectures :))
