This was such a well-designed unit. The coordinator seriously is one of the best, and I promise you'll leave the tutorials (and exit the lectures online) knowing absolutely everything you need to. Really complicated topics that are explained so clearly and easily. From personal experience - that is really not easy to do (especially with a topic like math and also having a software to teach). Amazing subject.

A well organised subject with helpful tutorials. The lecture were online, but were well presented - could be read as a document, as powerpoint slides, or listened to. Overall, the topics were cohesive and easy to follow, despite not being excessively interesting. The assessments were very well explained and tutorials related directly, so if you attend the tutorials, the assessments should be easy. The Hills book was also helpful - didn't read the others. Ended up with 92 in the subject.

If you excitedly awaiting an engaging and well constructed Summer Unit, you will be somewhat disappointed. It is a practical Unit that is necessary, which is apparent once you read the course work. In saying that, all the lectures are online (this is correct for the WSU Summer 2017 version of this course), with live tutorials. If you like that platform, good for you, it will help you. The online benefit was lost on me. Also, a big surprise, all the extra bridging course in stats I did were unnecessary, as the tutorials introduce a computer program to do all the stats calculations for us. Now that was unexpected.

Attending the tutorials will greatly help you, and hopefully you wont have to pull an all nighter to try to cram 18 topics in 1 night because then it gets a bit messy

Tutor was great but there was a lot to learn in this unit. Not looking forward to the Advanced unit!

Definitely takes consistent study and attention to detail in the graphs to do well in this unit. But if you pay attention it does make sense.

Study the lectures and tutorials consistently each week and everything will make sense. This subject could easily be the most important of the entire course.
