Lectures were good, tutorials were shocking. The tutor seemed very disinterested and we either watched YouTube videos or had to discuss questions in small groups with no direction and no clue as to what the meaning was behind the exercises.

An easy unit. The quizzes were easy marks if you knew how to open your textbook to the right spot to answer the questions.

Blegh

Some of the lectures didn't make sense without James as the lecturer, however the unit was enjoyable and the assessments were good.

Interesting unit. Good breadth of topics. As with most units, the content was not very comprehensive but gave a good basic understanding of different issues. The readings were very simple and easy to understand. The lecturer was great - very engaging and entertaining

Great fun, as most stuff was online easy to pass

I felt the lectures were patronising in their delivery of "mind explosions". The lecturer felt the need to show us videos on youtube of various movies which he vaguely tied into the content. The lecture material was not very solid and often times there were no clear conclusions tying the points together at the end. James' textbook is even worse, filled with mistakes as well as being completely biased and against all forms of government. No wonder the whole unit was based on Foucalt...

Pretty much a social and fun class, easy to understand and the tutors are great
