Most unorganised unit there is. From the very moment I saw the vUWS homepage I knew it wasn't a well-looked after subject, and the tutorials and lectures confirmed that for me. I am so glad I was able to withdraw without academic penalty because the amount of support you receive for assessments is a joke. Be prepared to do this on your own - the coordinator and tutors won't help you. Very different from other psych units.

I didn't particularly enjoy this subject. While the information was interesting and I have retained and thought about some of it, the subject was poorly presented. I felt the lectures lacked continuity and could have been simplified. I found the lab reports challenging, but managed to get good marks anyway. The exam was easy with sufficient study.

A very unorganised unit with no interesting content. Glad I never have to do it again.

Very disorganised unit indeed. We were given many guidance to assist us on our first assessment, however somewhere along the road, it confused more students with different examples and not very clear structure of where to write things in certain sections. A lot of questions has been raised in the discussion board and emails towards the unit coordinator about the turnitin link not being up, however no reply. With the help we needed, we are now just relying on other student's assumptions to finalise our assessment.

Great topics but very disorganised unit, all info available in week 1 was from previous semester, so don't read ahead as the info is updated weekly. Don't start any assignment until given explicit instructions on what you are doing - since all the online info was from last semester. Textbook is very good and the lectures are entertaining. Also read the LG thoroughly (we had three different due dates for one assignment and the last half of the semester had incorrect dates). Great subject - they just don't have a handle on the organisation and everything will get picked up and explained in time, unfortunately. My rating would be 5 stars if it wasn't frustrating putting in extra effort for assignments only to throw all my work away at a later date because it was all based on irrelevant info - that pissed me off.

This subject has open up my knowledge, allowed me to learn on another level by tutors always caring for the students. The best unit.. By far in terms of teaching. Funny lectures and awesome tutors!
