To the person who reviewed about being mature age: This is a level 2 unit, and you are supposed to have really done "Mathematical patterns and relationships", as I too am a mature age student and did well in this. It is 2019 now and text books are accessible online for free. That said, my criticism for this unit is that I found it very difficult writing a math report because it appears that there is no conventional method and seems a bit all over the place. Exam is good, yes cheat sheet makes it easier and calculators are allowed.

Easy unit, assignment is easy to complete as it is done for the first 4 weeks of tutorials, the exam was good as you got to take in a ‘cheat sheet’ with you

Awful unit for mature aged student who's been away from maths for over 15 years. They assume you know a whole lot. no lectures, no text book, only a tutorial in which your not actually explained to HOW to perform these mathematics functions. If not for my father in law tutoring me through assignments and exams I would have been lost.
