Really interesting unit - group project is super creative and fun (if you have a good group). Reasonably easy content - although sometimes the assignment due dates aren't thought out very well and clash with other units so plan ahead!

It was a good unit but I could never understand what my lecturer or tutor was saying. And my tutor had no idea of what was going on and always insulted the entire class. Worst experience especially for a first year

Make sure you use marketing terms and concepts a lot when writing essays and answering questions. Get a group who actually does work for the group project and make sure you keep up to date. I thought I would hate the subject at first as I don't like marketing but it turned out to be surprisingly easy and enjoyable. Would recommend.

I thoroughly enjoyed this unit. The group project was a lot of fun. I got lucky that my group consisted of only 3 members, so we were able to get things done without any issues. After experience, I won't rely on group members 100% until after the census date, because many students drop out and so your team number can drop, leaving a lot of work unaccounted for. I would also say to really go out and do some research on businesses within the hospitality and services industries, because a lot of exam questions are based on that.
