Reviews

This unit wasn't what I expected! It was very interesting in parts and others seemed off the beaten path. It is definitely a must for those interested in health and nutrition. The assessments seem unrelated to the course material but were easy enough to complete.

I love this subject! I enjoyed it, although there are lots of information. This subject is quite interesting since it involves a little bit of history as it discusses about human evolution.

This unit has a lot of content However it is so interesting which makes it 10 times easier than any other unit with less content. You can learn things which can be related to your daily life , eating pattern and habits. I have learned a lot about nutrition and food in this unit. Totally loved it.

Provides a reasonable window into the 'Wide World of Nutrition' but gee whiz, I have to say the content presented seemed not very up to date or exciting! e.g. There's a lot of new science out now about 'fat' being healthy...A lot of these new scientific ideas about Nutrition were not included in any lectures which was surprising - considering Nutrition is a topic that is always fluid and evolving. It is an okay subject if you want to get the basic understanding within the parameters of the past 50 years.. Frustrating if you were hoping to be tantalized with more challenging standards of current scientific information.

Very good introduction to nutrition however there is alot of content. I thoroughly enjoyed it as I found the content interesting but there is quite a bit to remember! The teaching staff were good, i enjoyed the seminars and loved the lectures!
