I don't think I've learnt a thing from the content, only the labs

As far as second year science units go its pretty chill. There are 4 hour labs and full reports almost every week, they aren't too hard or stressful and I found they were marked quite fairly! The online quizzes and tutorials quizzes are also pretty reflected on that weeks learning and you will do well as long as you have a smart group. The assessments weren't as easy and were very confusing as to what they actually wanted from you. I managed to still get an HD though, so id recommend it!

If you have an interest in chemistry and want an easy distinction/high distinction then take this unit. If you want interesting and engaging content at the cost of taking a harder unit, then don't take this unit. Pretty poorly run and had an annoying online interface that you had to use to submit and sign up to group assignments.

Pretty bludgie so far as chemistry units go. The pracs are all right but not all that interesting content wise. Easy option to complete a minor.
