I studied this unit in early 2020, with A/Prof Sally-Anne Stephenson as course coordinator. Compared to other LS40/47 units in the semester, this is the best. It's all about the human cell (duh), with a slight tangent into genetics. Lectures are very digestible and engaging. With COVID-19 lockdown, Sally did her best to adapt assessments to the situation.

Very interesting, Honor Hugo is really great at explaining everything and going into detail. She is also very approachable and happy to answer questions about the course and also what it's like to do medical research (she studies breast cancer, I forget exactly where) so brings lots of first hand experience and passion.
