No highlighting or writing inside. NB the first edition functions just as well as the second. Both editions contain the same musical excerpts, but some are listed in a different order, and the second edition has more excerpts. For example, the first edition lists the excerpt "Terpsichore, IV, Bransle double No. 1, mm. 1-4 (1612)" by P. F. Caroubel as excerpt 1. The second edition lists it as excerpt 54.
