QUT Law Tutor Alyssa

Alyssa is a qualified solicitor, admitted to practice in both the Supreme Court of Queensland and in the High Court of Australia. She graduated from the Queensland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours), achieving first class honours and completing a minor in public relations. Alyssa has worked across top-tier and mid-tier law firms, gaining hands-on experience in a broad range of legal areas, with a particular focus on construction litigation and planning and environment law. Alongside practicing law, Alyssa has several years of experience tutoring both high school and university students. She is passionate about making learning enjoyable and effective, tailoring her teaching style to suit the needs of each individual student. Alyssa’s goal is to build confidence and deepen understanding, whether she’s assisting with core legal concepts or helping students sharpen their analytical and writing skills. In addition to academic tutoring, Alyssa is also available to assist with public speaking. She has extensive mooting experience and has appeared in Queensland courts on behalf of clients, giving her practical insight into advocacy and presentation skills.
