This subject is quite challenging, but can be quite rewarding. Take this subject if you have a huge interest in math, and can spare a lot of time studying for this subject. If you care about you WAM a lot however, I would think twice about taking this subject. Lectures were mostly presented well, sometimes it was difficult for me to follow along. Assignments are hard, but interesting. You will spend a lot of time figuring out a proof for this subject. Tutorials are even more challenging, but are very engaging with excellent tutors. Exam was hard for me, and there was no scaling for it unfortunately. Content is almost identical to the first seven chapters of Rudin's Principles of Mathematical Analysis, covering real numbers, basic topology, sequences, series, limits and continuity, differentiation, integration, and sequences and series of functions. For some reason in the assessments, metric spaces and basic topology appeared a lot compared to other topics, but I didn't mind.

It's my duty to all future math students that I implore you: if you are eligible to do this subject, do it. The content is challenging but incredibly rewarding, and if you have ever found mathematics rote before, I trust that this subject will change your mind. Jesse is also a phenomenal lecturer; besides being a lovely guy and generally very engaging, he has put painstaking effort into designing a subject with little redundancy, and which rewards the effort you put in. Assignments and the exam were suitably challenging, but also replete with interesting questions that are enjoyable to think about even after completion. Easily one of my favourite subjects I've done; highly recommend.
