Reviews

interesting topic, engaging lectures and tutors!

The marketing for this unit was so harsh everything was super subjective and definitely way worse than I expected. The group assignment was also aids so make sure to form a group with the right people. Assignment guidelines were really unclear and we had no idea what to expect. ALSO don't pick Shala if you're not going to her tutes bc she would hate you + she takes 2 weeks to respond to an email. Requested a exam review and it was cancelled twice, was told it would be the following week. It is now the following week and I have not heard anything.

Engaging and relevant content, excellent teaching staff and interesting assignments, but quite fast paced

All tutors have industry experience and are great.

Definitely interesting subject to gain an insight about branding. The lecturer is interesting and very helpful. My advice is to work well on the 2 individual assignments. The group assignment was fine, but the result was lower than what we expected. Perhaps, due to high expectation by the tutor. Final exam was made appropriately to test students' understanding on the concepts. Lack of coordination between lecturer's expectation and tutor's expectation regarding the group assignment. Overall, it is definitely a rewarding subject.

This subject is more practical, since it provides case study for each topic. HOWEVER, picking a good tutor at the very beginning is advisable since markings for 2 individual assignment depends greatly on your tutor.

Interesting lecturer and was actually really fun and interesting. Wasn't too keen on my tutor, but she was alright. Definitely one of the most enjoyable subjects in Uni and I don't remember it being too much work.

The final was straight forward, which is related to the given exam topics. But my tutor is horrible on marking two individuals, which are 20%. So if your want to get a GOOD mark, carefully choose your tutor at the VERY beginning.
