I took this subject in Semester 1, 2020. The most poorly organised subject I have taken in the course of my uni life (This is my last semester too, so I've done quite a few subjects). Head lecturer and tutors does not really respond to emails, when they do it's been 3-4 days and the answer's already been solved. Marks takes forever to come out. In addition, lecture content is very hard to follow, it is all over the place with a lot of information repeated or thrown in - therefore you need to spend more time figuring out what is relevant for the exam and what is not. As a student I felt we were left to learn on our own quite a bit. Still got a H1 though! So do it ONLY if it really interests you.

It is a subject with a limited concept and framework provided for you to consolidate your analysis regarding "ethical" behaviours. The feedback of assignments were released after the final exam is taken which gave no help. The content in each lecture covers a lot of news articles and the use is limited. Tutorials are worse and literally not helpful answering the pretut questions.

so unorganised. Lecture content had very little structure. Interesting subject overall, but marks took forever to be released and tutor did not respond to any one of my emails.

This subject addresses the ethical challenges confronting managers and marketers in contemporary business organisations. Ethically questionable practices can include sweatshop labour, the destruction of the natural environment, sex in advertising, and political lobbying and influence. But business and marketing can also demonstrate ethical leadership, for example through green products, cause-related marketing and sustainable supply chains.

An absolutely fantastic subject, truly was inspiring and unique. Really helped my insight on a number of different global issues and how they are brought into business. The lecturers are an absolute dream, would highly recommend this subject to anyone looking to deepen their understanding in the business world and get a well rounded view on global issues

A fantastic subject, offering a unique, refreshing and much needed view on business practices. Highly qualitative, requiring a strong ability to understand theoretical concepts and offer unique, critical perspectives in the form of essays and reports. I would recommend this subject to any Commerce student seeking to become a more well-rounded student.
