The lecture content was really easy to follow and understand. The unit requires a lot of critical thinking and it is expected that you can apply knowledge of simple topics into action. The unit coordinator was a slightly harsh marker but gave good marks to really good assignments. There was some great fieldwork such as a night trapping at Harry Waring Reserve which was interesting and gave people the chance to apply and learn proper skills in the field. There was opportunities for a lot of presenting including speeches and debates that allowed us to be conversational about what we've learnt in the past. It is a notoriously low scoring unit but is interesting nonetheless. Although not my highest scoring unit I enjoyed it the most.
