This unit is good for particular people, however I would reccomend having some prior computing knowledge. The unit has a 2 hour lecture and a non-compulsary lab session. 25% of the marks make up correct completion of the labs, which can be done at any time throught the semester. 25% comes through the assignment which is a harder extended version of the labs. Very easy to get 100% in labs an 90%+ in the assignment. Howver the remaining 50%, being the exam is entirely based of the lecture content which is ignored in all other assignments, this is quite hard howver it balances out with the easier practical work. Very easy to get D and HD is achievable if you understand lecture content well.

Super fun! Felt like a treasure hunt with the labs. Made it fun to learn. Final exam was easy. Exam questions were just like the sample questions they discussed in the lecture. Exam was open book.

its an ok unit. there are many labs which can be finished at any time, they are quite easy, the project is basically like the labs but has many problem solving and difficult questions to get us to use critical thinking skills. You dont need to watch the lectures as you learn everything from the labs. The final exam however is all theory and quite difficult.

pretty good unit, kinda self paced. you watch weekly youtube vids and the lectures are just jin answering questions or expanding on things. exam was online so not too hard
