Unfathomably dull. Felt like I was back in a year ten history class. Don't believe anyone in the class struggled with the content at all and if they did I'd be seriously concerned that they were still at uni. Only take it if you're desperate for a good grade. No exam, two take-home essays and tutorial participation.

This Unit is really heavy on the theory. Reading list is long and it takes really strong engagement in the tutorials to make sure you've understood the more abstract elements to the theories. Having done this unit I am glad for the understanding I now have of dynamics of social groups and the dynamics between movements and politics. Tutorials are a must if you want to excel in your final essay. No exam.
