This unit is fantastic! It's incredibly well-organized and covers a wide range of topics related to public health and globalization. I highly recommend it to everyone. Tim, the instructor, is amazing at explaining everything in such a simple way. My tip: Start your essay early, divide it into four parts, and aim to finish it within two weeks. Once it's done, you can forget about it and move on.

Justin Denny is amazing! Makes the content so interesting and relatable. Not too heavy of a unit but super interesting

This unit was not too hard, but some of the lectures can drag on for ages. There was a lot of overlapping content with some lectures, and some lectures were confusing because there were points where we had no clue what we needed to know. The group project can either make or break your grade - a terrible group can instantly ruin your chances of an HD, so make sure you don't slack in it. The tutorials were interesting, and although it could be mundane, it's not bad at all. The exam was also not too difficult as well.

The course content was moderately interesting, some topics more than others. Some of the lectures did feel a bit repetitive due to the content overlap, but that can be a good thing. Some lecturers were good while others were not as good. The worst part of this unit was the group project. Though it was worth about 25%, it was a nightmare. The amount of time that had to be put into this was insane. If you're unfortunate enough to be put into a bad group, that will definitely make things worse. This was a broadening unit for me and I spent more time on this than my core units. Other than that, the exam and test was doable, given that you prepare in advance. Learning outcomes were clearly laid out, which can be used for revision. Not an easy HD.

This unit was very interesting but also very difficult. I definitely don't believe it should be a Level 1 unit as I found it much harder than my Level 2 and even Level 3 units! The group task is HORRIBLE. It is worth 30% and is actually quite a difficult assessment. The exam was very fair and was similar to the unit outline learning outcomes. The tutors and lecturers were wonderful! Overall, the content is very interesting but the assessments were unfair.

Super interesting unit and not too hard either. The exam just comes down to understanding the content which is great if you hate studying/memorising, I just watched the lectures once (engaging and easy to follow along with) and after that I didn't need to do any sort of study. The exam questions are mostly extended answered which are literally just the learning outcomes, just have ideas prepared for each topic before you go in. Only bad thing is that there is a big group project which consists of a 4000 word report and a presentation which I found more stressful than the exams, but its only worth 20%. This was a core unit for me, but if you're looking for a good broadening unit I'd still do it.

The content is super interesting, and the whole subject area of globalisation and health is fascinating. There is a big group project which spans the whole semester which is shit if you're someone who detests group work like me. I found the mid-sem and exam pretty straightforward though, and it didn't break my back to do well.

Very interesting unit, tutor was very approachable, knowledgeable, each lecture focused on a different issue that was very engaging
